Florida West Coast Credit Union is committed to meeting all the financial needs of you, our members.  We recognize the importance of protecting your private financial information. The Board of Director's, management and staff of FWCCU acknowledge that our member's trust and confidence is our top priority.  In order to preserve that trust it is our stated intent to comply with new Federal Privacy rules and regulations and have adopted the following standards.

In daily transactions with the Credit Union, you provide us with sensitive and confidential information, we will restrict access of that information to those employees that need to know that information to provide Credit Union products and services to you, our member.  We will maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to protect our member's personal information.

Florida West Coast Credit Union collects only information that is necessary to provide our members with the best service possible.  We collect information from applications that you complete, from transactions that you perform, from outside consumer reporting agencies and from transactions that you have performed with nonaffiliated third parties.

We currently do not share our member's nonpublic information with anyone unless it is to provide a service that our members have requested or to process a transaction that our member has initiated.  For example, we would share information with another financial institution that works with us to provide a service to you, our member.  In our mission to provide members with Total member satisfaction, Florida West Coast Credit Union can enter into a joint marketing agreement with other financial institutions and service providers; however we will ensure that those parties follow our strict confidentiality procedures and do not use our members private information for any other reason than the purpose of our agreement.  We currently do not have any Credit Union affiliates that we share information with, however we do reserve the right to share member information in the future with our affiliates.

We will send you a copy of our privacy policy annually and we will notify you of any changes on this website.  Should you have any questions, a copy of our privacy policy is available at all branches.
