COVID-19: A new message to our members about
Branch Accessibility and Member Services

At Florida West Coast Credit Union, the health and well-being of our members, employees, county groups, and Hillsborough and Pasco county residents is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the services available to you at the Credit Union.

As you may already know, the Downtown Branch has closed temporarily, because the County Center Building began closing operations and we were quickly notified we needed to close the Branch on 3/16/20. The Branch Manager, Brenda Johnson and her team have been reassigned to our other offices to serve you.

All of our other 4 Branch locations – Brandon, East Tampa, Carrollwood, and Pasco remain open to serve your cash, loan, and member service needs. But, in these extraordinary times, we’ve had to make some adjustments for your safety and ours. Effective Tuesday, 3/24/2020, the Brandon location will serve your teller and cash needs through our drive-up service. We have 3 drive-up lanes with plenty of staff to assist you in-person. Transactions that cannot be performed through the drive-up will be permitted inside the member service lobby.

Please note though, we are limiting the number of members in the lobby to 3 members at Brandon (and all offices). We will accept walk-ups, but we strongly encourage you to call for an appointment. Call us at 813-643-5572, press “0” and let the representative know you would like to make an appointment at Brandon for member services.

Our Carrollwood, East Tampa, and Pasco offices have glass barriers providing distancing for members and staff, and we feel we can safely accommodate teller and cash transactions, so those offices will be open as usual. But like Brandon, we will limit the number of members in the lobby and at the teller counter to 3 members at a time. So, please understand there may be a wait time, and plan your visit accordingly. We strongly encourage members to call for an appointment for member services and loans, as this will help us serve everyone better. Please call the main number 813-643-5572, (or your Branch number), press “0”, and let the member service representative know you would like to make an appointment at a Branch office.

The Credit Union’s Online Banking tools, Mobile APP, Call24, Presto ATMs and other resources for self-service banking continue to provide most members with the access they need, so please take advantage of those free services and limit your exposure and contact with others. Help us all to slow down the spread of COVID-19.

Lastly, we understand that there may be instances where members find themselves facing financial difficulties. Your Credit Union is here to help and we encourage members who may be impacted to reach out to discuss how we might be of assistance.
